While it had been my intention to keep these in relative order, I am giving up on that plan. In 2014 we produced Hello! My Baby with Cheri Steinkellner for the second time. It is rare for us to repeat shows so close together, but we had work shopped the script in house with Cheri and decided to take it to the International Thespian Festival the following year. With some script and song changes and a completely different set, we performed the show the same day the SCOTUS made its announcement upholding marriage equality. At the end of the show when Johnny asks "What the hell, a fella and a fella?", Marie's line "This is America, love is for everybody!" completely brought the house down. The Ballroom, we opted for painted shrub cut outs in the end. This was obviously not a dress rehearsal.
